Michael Najarian accepted a Volunteers for 2018 plaque on behalf of Silver Spring, Maryland, Chapter 641 from National Park Service Rangers James Pierce and New Thanyachareon on January 9. The award recognizes the many years the chapter has cleaned the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Najarian and Arthur Wong started the Wall Washing program in 1998.
