Convention Planning

2020 is finally over, but we must remain cautious and diligent about our behavior. We need to keep protecting ourselves and those we care for just a little while longer if this pandemic is ever to be resolved. 

The April National Board Meeting will be virtual.

Convention planning is going forward; award nominations and candidate registrations began in January. Some details may come later than usual this year, so keep watching the AVVA website http://www.avva.org/convention.html for updates.

Remember: If you will be a delegate or alternate delegate, there are two forms you have to fill out, the Delegate Registration Form and the AVVA Convention Registration Form. After you fill them out, submit them to the addresses on the forms. Do not submit AVVA member Convention registration forms on a VVA form.

The AVVA board held eight online meetings in 2020, both special and regular meetings. We were able to take care of a great deal of business. It has been an interesting ride, and this board has done a good job keeping up with everything. We began Convention planning in October so that we could get a head start on scenarios that may occur.
