Searching for George, a man I met on a train to Oxford, UK, a couple of years ago. He is Native American. I think he did two-and-a-half tours of duty. His fleece jacket and hat had a VVA logo. He was traveling with his wife, Helene. He was an extraordinary man who spoke openly, if emotionally, about his time in Vietnam. He said he mentored an AA program, and spoke to schools about his heritage. He tried to visit the UK regularly as his father had been stationed there in World War II.
