Looking for William Flanders, who served with me in the 25th Div., Pathfinders Det., 1969-70. I heard he owned a construction company in Silver Spring, Md. Contact: Charles Jones, 480-599-6205; jumper1949@yahoo.com

Searching for Jerry Horne. He was in the Army in Vietnam and was badly wounded. He married a Vietnamese woman, and they had two children. He and I worked for RobRay Drilling Co. in Thailand in the 1980s. I am from New Zealand and now live in Delaware. I think Jerry was from Alabama. I last saw him in Singapore in 1984. He was a great friend, and I would love to see him again. Contact: Roy Scott, royspen2002@yahoo.co.nz

Searching for Chuck Evans, who was in Vietnam from 1970-71 in the 101st Airborne Div. He was married and divorced by the age of 22 with two children. I really need to find him. Contact: Sue Sorenson Scheid, suziq13333@comcast.net

Looking for members of A Btry., 1st Bn., 5th FA, BRO, 1967-68. I was on a 105mm gun until Sept. 1967. I am in the middle of the picture. On my left is Perez and on my right, our gun chief, Staff Sgt. Smith. I became RTO in the FO Team in B Co., 1/2 Inf. until July 1968. Contact: John (JJ) Adams, john_adams.jr@reagan.com

Looking for a man whose name was Brickowski, though the spelling may be incorrect. He was in the 62nd Engineer Battalion and saw heavy combat in Vietnam, 1965. Contact: James N. Abdullah, nemo8696@gmail.com

Searching for my father, Jude T. Buras, who lived in Little Rock and served in Vietnam. Last-known address was in Conway, Ark. He and my mother were divorced. She is deceased. I last saw my father right after Hurricane Katrina. He has disappeared. My searches pulled up one picture of him from 2015 at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences. The photo can be found here. Contact: Mary Dowling, marydlizzard@aol.com

In the March/April 2019 issue of The Veteran I was pleasantly surprised to see my name mentioned in “Locating a Hero” by Ron Parsons. Several years earlier I had, by accident, seen his Locator notice for a former Marine buddy named O.D. Jordan. I discovered that, sadly, Mr. Jordan had passed away. But Ron was able to connect with his family. Are you looking for someone you served with in the military? While some names will be very common, and thus a search may not be successful, I and some friends are willing to give it a try. It’s the kind of research we can do in our spare time that can be informative and gratifying. There is no charge; it’s our small way of saying thank you. Contact: Cathie Pelletier, FindingSoldiers@gmail.com

Looking for two Marines from Lima 3/5, An Hoa: Bob Bortz and Ronnie Flowers. We served together in 1969-70. Contact: Michael Marnach (KHP), Michael.Marnach@ks.gov
