Searching for information about Valney O’Pyle from Texas. He served in Vietnam in the late 1960s, but I don’t know where. He came to Michigan to marry Margaret Gunning in 1969. She has since passed away. He was in the Army and had a rifle badge on his suit. He was later transferred to Germany, maybe as a clerk or recruiter in Port Huron, Michigan. He died in 2009. A group of us from March AFB, CS were given orders for a short notice TDY in support of ARC LIGHT in early 1968. My AFSC was Aircraft Pneudraulic Repairman (Hydraulic).
