Are You Eligible for the Arrowhead Device?

If you served in the Army, received the Vietnam Service Medal, and took part in a combat parachute jump, helicopter assault landing, combat glider landing, or amphibious assault landing as part of an “organized force carrying out an assigned tactical mission,” you are eligible for an award you may not have known about—the Arrowhead Device.

Also eligible for the device, a small bronze replica of a Native American arrowhead, are those who have received the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, the Iraq Campaign Medal, and the Korean Service Medal.Ω
