Looking for Chuck Morales, whom I met while hospitalized in Cam Ranh Bay U.S. military hospital, February 1968. I spent six weeks recuperating there. I was the only Australian soldier there. Trying to locate John Michael Palladiano (from Falls Church, Va.), whom I knew at Chanute AFB, Rantoul, Ill., sometime around 1971. His father was also an officer in the Air Force. Trying to locate any members of 35 TWF, Civic Action Team, Phan Rang AFB, 1967-68. Lt. Quedo was the OIC, and I was the NCOIC. Volunteers were TSgt. Ron Johnson and Sgts. Demers, Kolander, Ptak, and Lanter. All members who received Civic Action Award Certificates from the province chief during that period should be eligible for the South Vietnamese Civic Action Medal 2nd Class. Would also like to know the name of the airman who mentioned me in the “Happy Valley” news No. 36 as having taught Maj. Bernie Fisher’s two boys how to skin dive at Homestead AFB in the 1960s. Looking for anyone who served in Vietnam with Project Counter out of Ft. Ludwig “Lucky” “Lupo” Meier and Monika Hildebrand are looking for Toni Madonia (from Buffalo), who served with Co. A, 13th Sig. Bn., 1st Cav. Div., Vietnam, 1968-69. Trying to find Capt. J.W. Menzies or anyone else who served with me in Alpha Co., 1st Bn., 5th Cav. Regt., 1st Cav. Div., June 1970. I was a scout dog handler. On June 30 I was awarded a medal for climbing into a burning helicopter and rescuing the door gunner and pilot. I am trying to get my medal upgraded to a Medal of Honor. Contact: James F.
