Looking for anyone who served with my brother, Michael F. Holan, April 1966-March 1967. He was a radio man, first in Da Nang for one month, then in Nui Ba Dinh for two months. Looking for an old friend, Wayne Leppiaho, a Vietnam veteran. He went to Wright College in Chicago, and lived in Mundelein, Ill., in 1972. One day in May or June 1968, while on a recon patrol with B Co., 1st Reconnaissance Bn., 1st Marine Div., I took a role or two of 110 Instamatic photos. I gave the film to a Marine Sgt. who was attached to Marine Logistics at Red Beach, Da Nang. I remember one photo was of me with my foot on an unexploded two-thousand-pound bomb. Trying to locate 1st Lt. Michael E. Henderson and SFC Edward L. Moon, who served with Charlie Co., 3rd/21st Inf., 196th LIB, Americal Div. (23rd Inf. Div.). They were wounded, along with three other Americans and a Vietnamese Kit Carson Scout, on August 31, 1970, when Henderson set off a booby trap on a terraced hillside in Happy Valley. Need help for a claim. Seeking anyone who served aboard U.S.S. Kitty Hawk in 1980-83 with the CV-63 flight deck crew, especially those who had duty in the ABE/Arresting Gear Div.
