We made it to Honolulu, where we had to be loaded onto another C124 with a good radio system. We landed at Guam, Wake, and Manila before landing at Nha Trang. Some of us in the unit’s chemical section were pulled out of the outfit and reassigned to HQ USARV. I am trying to establish the date and location of departure (Travis or Beale).
